- The first part of the phrase above identifies the enormity of my problem with user testing: IT DOESN’T DO WHAT THE PEOPLE WHO PRACTICE IT THINKS IT DOES. Jesus. Why are we still having this conversation 10 years after this became apparent to anyone who’s worked on more than one product ever?
